History of Meader Heritage Farm

We began our venture in 1983 in the old woodshed on the Meader Heritage Farm.  Eventually we moved into the old barn now converted into modern offices, product showroom, and a mechanics shop.

Located on the Meaderboro Road in Rochester, New Hampshire, Meader Heritage Farm is not a recent acquisition for the Meader Family.  In 1976, the NH American Revolution Bicentennial commission awarded Bud and his wife, Ruth, a bicentennial medal and certificate in recognition of their being owners of a farm which had been retained in the same family for over 200 years.  Ruth and Bud’s children are the eighth generation and the grandchildren represent the ninth generation of Meaders.

Meader Supply Corporation was founded mainly out of frustration at not being able to find the products we wanted and at the quality we demanded for our herd of registered Belgian Draft Horses.  Consequently, our products represent the finest in craftsmanship, many produced by superior Amish craftsmen, hardworking family-owned farms and businesses in small communities across America where quality and hard work are a way of life.  You do not pay extra for the quality, as we work at eliminating the middleman.  You will find our products priced to fit your budget.

 We run our business on three simple principles…

1.      We believe that what is best for our customer is best for all of us.  Our sales and service people are trained to know our products, and to be friendly and helpful.  They are urged to take all of the time necessary to take care of you.

2.      We ship fast.  In stock items are shipped the day after we receive the order.

3.      We accept returns.  We don’t want you to accept any merchandise that does not meet your expectations.
